American Airlines Publications has produced the magazine for 14 years and says losing the contract is "a pretty big deal." Southwest, pilots begin negotiations. Southwest Airlines and its pilots union start negotiating a new contract today for the first time since 1994. The talks will pit the most profitable U.S. airline against the most highly paid pilots.
